1. Agreement and operator
These Terms govern your use of IKARU, which is operated by Unlimitive Media. By using the app or website, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Questions about the service or these Terms can be sent to contact@unlimitive.com.
2. What IKARU provides
IKARU provides travel-planning, packing, itinerary, map, language-learning, reminder, social, sharing, and related organizational tools. Features can depend on device capability, permissions, connectivity, account status, premium access, or third-party services. We may change the scope of the service as it develops.
3. Travel information is guidance
Travel information, routes, maps, translations, AI suggestions, entry guidance, safety information, weather context, prices, availability, and other content are planning aids, not guarantees or professional advice. Check current official sources, carrier and provider rules, local requirements, and your own safety needs before acting. IKARU is not responsible for a border decision, missed connection, booking, route, or other travel outcome.
4. Accounts and local mode
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for protecting account credentials. Guest and local-first features may keep data only on your device, while account-backed features require sign-in and connectivity. Do not use another person’s account, impersonate someone, or attempt to bypass access or premium controls.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you have in trips, notes, photos, media, profile content, prompts, and other material you submit. You give IKARU the limited permission needed to host, sync, display, transform, transmit, and process that material to provide the feature you request. You must have the rights and permissions needed for material you upload or share, and you must not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.
6. Sharing and location responsibility
Sharing links, public profiles, public itineraries, selected photos, Journey media, and live location are controlled by your choices. A bearer link can be copied or forwarded, and recipients may save what they can view. Review the audience and optional content before publishing or creating a link, revoke links when no longer needed, and do not share another person’s information without permission. Location features are not an emergency service and may be delayed, unavailable, approximate, stale, or affected by device and network settings.
7. AI and third-party services
AI outputs are generated assistance, may be incomplete or wrong, and require your review before you rely on them or apply a proposed change. Prompts, bounded trip context, and optional audio can be processed by the backend and its providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Maps, geocoding, search, translation, authentication, storage, diagnostics, purchases, and other integrations may be supplied by third parties; their own terms and availability apply.
8. Purchases and premium features
Premium products, prices, billing periods, renewal language, and available payment methods are presented through the applicable app store. Apple or Google processes the transaction and RevenueCat supports entitlement management. Manage cancellation, restoration, and available refund routes through the store or the in-app subscription-management surface. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer or statutory payment rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use IKARU to break the law; abuse, threaten, stalk, or expose another person; publish content without permission; upload malware; scrape or reverse engineer the service except where the law permits; manipulate ratings, invitations, entitlements, or usage limits; interfere with security or availability; or use automated access in a way that harms the service or other users.
10. Ownership
IKARU’s software, design, branding, editorial material, databases, and other service components are owned by or licensed to Unlimitive Media or its licensors. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms or by law, you may not copy, sell, distribute, modify, or exploit those components. Your feedback may be used to improve the service without transferring your ownership of the underlying content.
11. Availability, suspension, and termination
We may maintain, limit, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service when reasonably needed for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. We may suspend access for misuse or a material breach. You may stop using IKARU at any time and can delete an account from Settings; local data and account-backed data are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IKARU is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, secure, or suitable for every purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections, rights, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. Where a change materially affects users, we may provide an additional notice through the service when appropriate.
